Your computer is a state, not a device.

Leave the laptop.
Keep the computer.

A full Linux desktop that keeps running in the cloud. Your files, open windows, and work in progress are ready when you switch computers.

Demo access is provided by the team. Unsaved work persists while the cloud desktop is running.

The files made it. The setup didn't.

Brian left his laptop at home before a work trip. His files were in the cloud. His working environment wasn't. A four-hour round trip, or a lost day.

  • Code + uncommitted changes
  • Runtime + dependencies
  • Open windows + work in progress
  • Service access

The power doesn't have to live in your laptop.

A compatible browser and an internet connection can reconnect to compute running elsewhere.

Open → Work → Resume.

  1. Open

Open your Beam desktop in the browser.

  2. Work

Work inside that cloud desktop: edit files, run tools, arrange windows.

  3. Resume

Close the first browser or computer, then reconnect from another device.

Beam currently preserves work performed inside its running cloud desktop. It does not automatically capture local applications or their unsaved memory. The optional sync CLI imports Git state and file changes.

The workspace is the proof.

Open the real Beam desktop and try a two-computer handoff.

  1. Leave an edit open in Beam.
  2. Close Computer A.
  3. Resume the same desktop on Computer B.

Team administrators currently have access to the shared pitch desktop.

Short-lived access. A workspace you resume.

Whop verifies identity for the team demo. That launch uses a one-time 60-second ticket and a 15-minute browser session. Permanent Whop API credentials stay on the control server.

A compromised or keylogged device can still observe what is typed or displayed. The separate password demo login remains available.

The vision we're building toward

I help remote developers around the globe achieve zero setup loss through a cloud computer that resumes their exact environment — unsaved work included — on any machine.

I don't need my laptop.
I just need my identity.

Leave the laptop. Keep the computer.
